November 2005

In this month's news Australian outworkers face losing their hard-fought protections because of the proposed changes to the Federal Industrial Relations Act - they need your support. There's also news that Levis and Puma are the latest brands to release the addresses of their suppliers – hopefully other brands will follow suit. We update you on workers dismissed from the Busana Prima Global factory in Indonesia for participating in a strike, in 2003. August 2005

This month we update you on the situation facing former workers from the Tae Hwa factory in Indonesia and the worldwide actions taken to support workers. Oxfam Australia's NikeWatch campaign has been running since 1995, and these web pages have been running since 1997. If you're interested in the campaign's history between 1997 and 2002, let us know and we'll email you our previous news updates. Note that the zip file is large so don't request it unless your email connection can handle relatively big files.
